New Job

Really excited, I have been offered a position as a very part-time tutor at Bishops Hill Adult Education Centre.  Cant give up the day job yet, but I am hopefully one step closer!!

Will be running my first workshop on the 14th June, summer school, and apparently this includes a very nice lunch – so how good is that!!!

The workshop that we will be running is textures in embroidery and we will be making a small bag similar to this.  WeDSCF1270 will be using sheers, nets, nappy liners, bodaweb, tyvek but to name a few of the materials.  This work shop is fun and is aimed at those with a sense of adventure.

It is hoped that we will be able to run a 10 week evening class in September, hopefully exploring ‘Stitch to Paint’ techniques more fully.  And also another day school, not sure if lunch will be included in that one! but the ain of the day will be to make a mobile with sheers and lutrador.
